Auron of Final Fantasy X  Most fans of Vincent who played Final Fantasy X for the first time immediately noticed the similarities between these two characters. Aside from their physical resemblances including long dark hair and red cloaks, they're both very reserved and tend to say the least out of their group. When they do speak, it is usually about the serious issues at hand, although sometimes they make a humorous sarcastic remark. Both are very private individuals who don't reveal much about their lives unless necessary. Probably the biggest similarity of all is that they're both dead, though there are some minor differences on how they both came to live again. Auron was simply never sent to the Farplane (place of the dead) while Hojo brought Vincent back to life. Gee, the more I think about it, it really doesn't surprise me that my favorite FFX character was Auron.Squall Leonhart of Final Fantasy VIII  I know that the two obviously don't look anything alike, but there are certain quirks about Squall that remind me of Vincent. The both of them started out as people who could care less about anything other than their own problems. For Squall, it was his mission and for Vincent, it was Lucrecia. However, the both of them made changes in their lives as the games progressed. Squall learned that it was okay to care for others despite past problems just as Vincent did. They're also very introverted, sensitive and caring, which are traits they're afraid to reveal to others.Kaze of Kinal Fantasy Unlimited 
Kaze's golden arm has a certain familiarity to it, as does his cape, long hair, and cold expression. Much like Vincent, Kaze wields a gun and also suffered through the loss of a loved one. As is customary for characters with such tragic pasts, Kaze, like Vincent, became introverted and cool. Both also fight to exact revenge against those who took away everything they ever loved, though I think that Vincent has other, less "angry" reasons as well.
Inuyasha of Inuyasha  Although Inuyasha's temperament is fierier than Vincent's, they have quite a few similarities history-wise. Both slept for a long period of time before being awoken. Inuyasha is half demon and Vincent also possesses demonic powers of his own. When both characters turn into their monstrous form, they lose control over their actions. Both lost their loves and because of this, they feel tremendous guilt and are distrustful of people, making them appear as careless loners. However, with the help of friends, they soon learn how to trust again.Albert Wesker of Resident Evil  This one is sort of a stretch, and I admit that they really don't strike me as alike, but there are some things. For one, they were both scientifically altered and given superhuman powers. The big difference here is that Wesker did it to himself and Vincent was just a victim of Hojo's. The only other thing that really reminds me of Vincent is the fact that Wesker is withdrawn, cool, and really unknown to those around him. Vincent starts out that way when he first meets people too, although the two of them reveal their true selves in time. Otherwise these two are very different.
