Guest Characters
Ehrgeiz is a 3D fighting game made by a collaborate team of three well-known game companies, Squaresoft, Dream Factory, and Namco. Originally from the arcade, it was later ported, with added extra features, to the Playstation console. The game features eight original characters as well as characters from Final Fantasy VII.

In the arcade version, Tifa and Cloud were the only two from FF7 to appear, and they were secret characters. Cloud and Tifa, along with Sephiroth, were later made default characters in the Playstation version, and Vincent, Yuffie, and Zack were added as secret characters.

Playing as Vincent
Much like in the original game, Vincent is a hidden character. In order to unlock him, complete arcade mode with Tifa and Vincent will appear in the character menu. Vincent shares similar moves and fighting style with default character, Godhand. As a fighter, his agility and physical attacks are both average.

Turk Vincent
If both players choose to play as Vincent in versus mode, the second player can change Vincent's default costume to his Turk uniform. In addition, Vincent will also sport his short hair.

While selecting characters in versus mode, highlight one of the characters next to Vincent in the menu. If you've selected the character on Vincent's left, press and hold the up and right directional buttons. Alternatively, press and hold the up and left directional buttons if the character to his right is highlighted. If performed correctly, Vincent's default artwork will change to his Turk artwork.
